Bluff Knoll's rugged summit dominates the view from the Stirling Range Retreat. Enjoy breath-taking scenery, fresh mountain air and wonderful bush walks.
The Retreat shares a boundary with one of Australia's most outstanding botanical reserves. The mountains are rich in exquisite wildflowers during spring and walkers will be surprised to discover flowering plants at any time of the year. There are at least 87 endemic plants growing in the Stirlings that cannot be found naturally anywhere in the world.
Scenic drives and day trips can be made to Albany and the Porongurups.
There is so much to explore, and depending on the sort of break you're after you can do as much or as little as you like.
Experience the magic of a night sky with millions of stars as you toast marshmellows on the brazier.
Watch the sun rise from the mountain tops, and the sun set across the paddock. At Stirling Range Retreat you will experience real Australian Mallee Country, where peace and quite abounds.
