As the weather is often changeable, we recommend you bring a weatherproof jacket, strong shoes with non-slip soles, long trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and a hat.

Consider bringing your camera, a magnifier, binoculars, field guides, a notebook and a pen.

If we use bush trails, we encourage our guests to stay on well-pounded kangaroo trails. Kangaroos travel single file and so will the group to minimise damage to habitat.

The wild life at Stirling Range Retreat live in an undisturbed habitat. All the wildlife here is free to come and go as it pleases, we cannot guarantee sightings. As many of the animals are nocturnal please use red cellophane over your torch light as the eyes of the native animals can be damaged by torch light. Free red cellophane is available from the retreat's office.

Visitors are welcome to join all Hidden Treasure tours.
